A little history

The Stadttheater opened on 1 October 1891 with Wagner's Lohengrin and was renamed Opernhaus in 1964.

Its white neo-baroque front faces Sechseläutenplatz, the square by the lake where the Böögg is burned every spring.

The booklet opens with the full story: key dates, what to look for and where to find it.
